Tasnia Huque Joins Javelin
As Javelin begins its 14th year, we are thrilled to announce that Tasnia Huque has joined our investment team! Like all of us at Javelin, Tasnia has been both an operator and an investor, and loves supporting founders at the earliest stages of building their companies. She comes to us with experience in building consumer application products at Toast and helping craft Warner Brother’s international studio strategy, as well as experience on the M&A team at Barclays and investing roles at Cue Ball Capital and Endeavour Capital.
Born and raised in Bangladesh, Tasnia moved to the U.S. on a full academic scholarship to attend Bates College, where she created the school’s first “Young Entrepreneurs Club” and graduated with distinction. After 6 years of banking, operating, and investing experience, Tasnia then earned her MBA from Harvard Business School. At Javelin, Tasnia will help source, analyze, and support companies from a variety of sectors, including software, AI, prop-tech, and fin-tech. If you are a founder raising a Late Seed / Early A round in the near future, we encourage you to reach out to Tasnia at tas@javelinvp.com.
If you have already been fortunate enough to meet Tasnia, then you know why she fits in so well at Javelin. We love a ton of things about her, but it was her entrepreneur-friendly approach along with her thorough analytical abilities that attracted us most. She’s a 10 out of 10 cultural fit and adds a very important perspective to our investment decision process. She will make us better investors, and she will help our founders with resources and guidance in their most foundational stages.
Please join us in welcoming Tasnia to the Javelin team!
